Safety on Vibent

Meet new people on your terms.

Meeting strangers should feel like a good night out. Vibent’s safety rules are built into how it works, so they don’t depend on a setting you might miss.

No cold DMs

There is no way to message a stranger on Vibent. You can talk with the people in a group you belong to, and with people confirmed for the same plan as you. A plan’s thread closes a week after the plan. Nobody can find your profile and start a private conversation out of nowhere.

No public ratings of people

After a plan, you can privately note whether you’d happily see someone again. That is a yes or a no, it is visible only to you, and it only shapes your recommendations. Vibent never adds these up into a score, never shows them on a profile, and never tells anyone how they were rated.

Your address stays yours

People don’t have locations on Vibent; places do. A public venue such as a café, park or climbing gym is shown exactly. If you host at home, everyone else sees only your neighbourhood until you confirm them. Asking to join isn’t enough to see an address, so nobody can collect addresses just by tapping “join”. Plans at home always need the host’s approval.

Adults only

Everyone confirms they are 18 or older when they join. Vibent asks you directly; it never infers it and never ticks the box for you.

No money changes hands

Vibent has no payments, balances or transfers, so there is nothing to scam anyone out of inside the app.
