Post a plan in a minute
Say what it is
Give it a name and pick the interest it fits, such as sourdough for beginners, a Sunday trail run or a board game night. The more specific it is, the better Vibent can match it.
Choose where
Pick a public venue, an outdoor meeting point such as a trailhead, or your home. Venues are shown exactly. Homes show only the neighbourhood until you confirm someone.
Set the size and who can join
Choose how many people can come. Let people join straight away, or approve each request yourself. Plans at home always use approval.
Vibent finds the people
Your plan goes on the map and into the For You deck of nearby people whose interests fit. You’ll see how many people it reached.
Talk before you meet
Everyone confirmed shares a thread with you, so you can sort out details beforehand. The thread closes a week after the plan.
Ideas that work well
- Dinners and potlucks. A table for six is the classic way to turn strangers into regulars.
- Learn-something sessions. Pottery, sourdough, film photography: anything you could teach or learn in an afternoon.
- Games. Board games, trivia teams, pickup football, pickleball doubles.
- Moving around. Run clubs, beach walks, bike rides and trail days.
Hosting doesn’t give anyone a way to message you outside the plan, and nobody sees a public rating of you. See safety on Vibent.
